Monthly Community Luncheon
The second Wednesday of every month YMCA Safe Place Services invites anyone who would like to learn more about our services and programs to lunch. The program begins at noon and lasts one hour. Lunch and a tour of the facility are included. If you would like to attend one of these gatherings please contact Jena Walker at 635-4401 or jawalker@ymcalouisville.org. Y-NOW Children of Prisoners’ Graduation
The powerful year-end accumulation to this nationally recognized program is inspirational. Please help us cheer on the success of our youth and mentors. 19th Annual Safe Place Turf Classic
TThe 19th Annual YMCA Safe Place Services Turf Classic will be held Friday, June 3, 2011. This event is truly one of a kind - Churchill Downs hosts a day at the races with a twist: the favorite race of the day is run by Humans!
They compete for the winning trophy by running seven furlongs (7/8 of a mile) on the turf track. The day also includes a great silent auction and celebration in the beautiful Triple Crown Room and Jockey Club Suites.
